#1 Polio
Polio is a potentially deadly and crippling disease that is caused by the poliovirus. It is contagious and can spread from person to person. It can infect a person's brain and spinal cord, ultimately leading to paralysis (loss of ability to move). Polio is still a threat in some countries, it prudent to ensure that your child is properly vaccinated. Polio can still be caught in the following countries: Pakistan, Afghanistan and Nigeria. Hep A: Hep A is a contagious disease caused to the liver and is transmitted through person to person contact or from contaminated water and food. When travelling to countries outside of the EU it's crucial to have your injections for this.
Hep B: Hep B is a disease that is spread through blood or various bodily fluids. It dangerous for babies, especially. This is because it can spread from an infected mother to her child during birth.
#5 Diphtheria: The vaccine known as DTaP provides protection against diphtheria, tetanus and pertussis. It's an important vaccination that most babies get when they're young.
