Betadine Dry Powder Topical Spray is a quick acting, easy to use antiseptic spray, ideal for treating and preventing infection in wounds including ulcers, burns, cuts and other minor injuries. Containing powerful but gentle agents, Betadine dry powder spray is a low mess wound treatment that rapidly cleans and prepares a wound for dressing.
Pressurised aerosol spray containing Povidone Iodine 2.5% w/w, Povidone Iodine is known as an antiseptic preparation. It exert its antiseptic effect by slowly releasing iodine. Antiseptics (sometimes called germicides) are chemicals that kill or prevent the growth of micro-organisms such as bacteria, fungi, viruses and bacterial spores.
For topical use on the skin only. Adults, the elderly and children over 2 years: shake can before use, spray the effected area from a distance of 15-25cm (6-10 inches) until a dusting of powder is deposited. If necessary, cover with a dressing.
