exorex Coal Tar lotion 100 ml

Coal tar solution contains coal tar as the active ingredient. Coal tar has been used in skin conditions for hundreds of years, but it is still not fully understood how it works, mainly because it is made up of so many different compounds. Coal tar has mild antiseptic and anti-inflammatory effects, and relieves itching.

Exorex Lotion is for the treatment of psoriasis of the skin and scalp.

Exorex Lotion 5% contains 5% prepared coal tar in the bast of esterified fatty acids. The ingredients used allows you to notice an improvement to your skin within a few weeks, however it may also take longer for the improvement to occur.

This product is the most important product within the Exorex Management System as it is indicated for the treatment of psoriasis whilst others are complementary products designed to assist in the management of psoriasis.

Exorex Lotion can be diluted to suit individual requirements. Dilution is recommended if you have sensitive skin, if you are a long-term sufferer or have used steroids in the past. Dilution is also recommended for the elderly and children under 12.

INGREDIENTS:

5% w/w Cutaneous Emulsion Prepared Coal Tar, Polysorbate 80, Industrial Metholated Spirits, Vitamin E, Xantham Gum, Complex of Esterified Esential Fatty Acids, PEG-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Sodium Propyl Hydroxybenzoate (E217), Methyl Hydroxybenzoagte (E218), Water.

Adults and children over 2 years of age should apply a thin layer 2-3 times a day.

Massage gently and leave to dry.

Infants and elderly should dilute with a few drops of freshly boiled and cooled water before use as above.
